Finding the Perfect DJ
The first step is discovering the right talent.- Navigate to the Discover page from your DJfindr dashboard.
- Filter your search by:
- Location: Find DJs local to your event to save on travel fees.
- Occasion: Looking for a Wedding DJ or a Club DJ? Filter by specialty.
- Genres: Ensure the DJ plays the music you want to hear.
- Browse DJ profiles, listen to their mixes, and read reviews from past clients to make an informed decision.
Sending an Inquiry
Once you’ve found a DJ you like, it’s time to reach out.- On the DJ’s profile, select your event date and click Inquire.
- Provide details about your event, including the start time, duration, and any special requests.
- This opens a direct chat thread in your Inbox, allowing you to communicate securely with the DJ.
Reviewing and Paying a Proposal
After you’ve discussed the event details and agreed on a price, the DJ will send you an official Proposal.- You will receive an email and an in-app notification when the Proposal is ready.
- Click to open the Event Details.
- Here, you can review the total price, any line-item extra fees, and the DJ’s requested payment terms.
- Click Accept & Pay.
- You will be redirected to a secure checkout flow powered by Stripe. You can pay via credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other supported methods.
