Editing Your Basic Details
To edit your public profile, navigate to Content > Profile from your dashboard.- Cover Photo & Avatar: High-quality images immediately signal professionalism. We recommend using a high-res logo or a clear headshot for your avatar, and an action shot of a past gig for your cover photo.
- Bio: Tell your story. Mention your experience, your style, and the types of crowds you play for best.
- Service Areas & Occasions: accurately define where you are willing to travel and what types of events you specialize in (e.g., Weddings, Club Nights, Corporate Events). This directly impacts your appearance in search results.
Sharing Your Profile
Click the link icon next to your profile handle in the dashboard to copy your unique DJfindr link (e.g.,djfindr.com/dj/yourname). Share this in your Instagram bio, on your website, or directly with clients.
Managing Posts
Posts are a great way to show clients that you are active and booking gigs.- Go to Content > Posts.
- Click Create Post.
- Upload an image from a recent event, add a caption, and tag the location.
- Posts appear chronologically on your public profile, giving clients a sense of your live energy.
Managing Mixes
Clients want to hear what you sound like before they book you.- Navigate to Content > Mixes.
- You can manually upload mixes or embed them.
- Pro Tip: If you use SoundCloud, use our SoundCloud Sync integration to automatically pull your latest tracks and mixes directly onto your DJfindr profile.
