Once you’ve found a DJ whose style and experience match your vision, the next step is to get in touch.

Drafting an Inquiry

You can initiate contact directly from any DJ’s public profile page.
  1. Click the primary Request to Book or Send Inquiry button on the DJ’s profile.
  2. Fill out your event details:
    • Date and Time: Specify when your event occurs.
    • Location: Provide the venue address or general area.
    • Occasion: Select the type of event (e.g., Wedding, Corporate Party, Club Night).
    • Message: Include a personal note. Describe the vibe you’re looking for, roughly how many people will be attending, and any immediate questions you have.

The Inbox Flow

Once you submit your request, it arrives in the DJ’s private DJfindr Inbox. You will receive an email notification when the DJ replies. From there, you can navigate to your own Inbox on DJfindr to continue the conversation. This is the perfect time to:
  • Negotiate pricing and rates.
  • Discuss specific timeline requirements (e.g., cocktail hour vs. main reception).
  • Request additional equipment (e.g., “Do you also provide microphones or uplighting?”).
Once the details are verbally agreed upon, the DJ will draft and send you an official Event Proposal.
